This updated apartment overlooking Mooloolaba Beach has been completely transformed by Giarola Architects, to make the most of the spectacular Pacific Ocean views.

Located on the fourth floor of a 40-year-old beachfront high rise apartment tower overlooking Mooloolaba Beach, this apartment had seen better days.
Our clients engaged us to carry out a complete demolition and rebuild of the space, making the most of the enviable location and outlook, and providing a fitting showcase for their collection of artworks and collected treasures.
We stripped back the apartment to its bare bones before remodelling the interiors, thereby creating better functionality and flow throughout the internal space.
The new plan incorporates a generous master suite with ensuite bathroom and walk-in-robe, a second bedroom and bathroom and a powder room.
Our clients wanted a sleek and modern look and were prepared to invest in high-quality attention to detail across the project.
We opted for a timeless and classic black-and-white colour palette with custom-made kitchen fittings and joinery throughout the main living space, uniting all of the new elements in a consistent and cohesive way.
The matt black walls recede into the background and draw attention outside to the amazing views, while the white walls provide an ideal backdrop for the owners’ collection of original artworks.
The result is a sophisticated space that elevates this once-dated apartment to a whole new level.
